Crowd-Pleaser Cheesy Potatoes

This cheesy potato recipe is a family tradition passed down from the Smileys. It is the most satisfying, scrumptious comfort food you have ever tasted. They make a great side dish for any meal-- breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and can be served at weddings, family dinners and so much more. It has become a favorite for many!

Ingredients

  • 32 Ounces Frozen Diced Hash Brown Potatoes
  • 3/4 Yellow Onion diced
  • 1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
  • 2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 Ounces Sour Cream
  • 1 Stick Butter melted
  • 3-4 Cups Crushed Potato Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Mix all ingredients (except crushed chips) in a large bowl.

  3. Place the mix into a casserole dish and press down to fill and spread it out. Bake for 45 minutes.

  4. Evenly top the cooked potato dish with the crushed potato chips. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
